The greater park of Nafplio, very
centric, is located around the old railway station. In it an old steam
train can be seen and the old routes crossing the park and semi-covered
by the vegetation.
Nowadays, the trains arrive at one hundred meters of this park. In the
present stopping place, sad and alone, there is another steam train that
observes with melancholy their present descendants.
Syntágmatos square
Nafplio downtown is marked by the enormous Syntagmatos square. The excellent
archaeological museum of Nafplio is place there. From it, starts a good
part of the most important streets of Nafplio, and others not so important
but perhaps much more charming.
This square is so great that it is impossible not to see it when you
take a walk in Nafplio.
